On behalf of Tri-County Career Center, and our Board of Education we welcome you to our website and our outstanding school district.

Tri-County Career Center is the “premiere” career and technical school in Southeastern Ohio, helping high school students prepare for post-secondary education, workforce preparation or the military.  Many of our students earn college credit while attending our Center through agreements with Hocking College and Ohio University.  Internships and “On the Job” training are all part of the experience at our career center.  Students at Tri-County are able to complete their high school diplomas while advancing themselves in a chosen career or vocation.  We are very pleased with our job placement rate of over 90% and the preparation of students continuing to apply, and be selected for numerous post-secondary opportunities.  

Recently we have added new and exciting programming based on the needs of our region. “Power Line Academy,” in association with AEP, trains young people for careers associated with pole climbing and the equipment related to this field. Our “Culinary Arts” program works in cooperation with Hocking College and uses professional chef kitchens as a food preparation location. In cooperation with Ohio University, high school seniors, may participate in our “Teacher Academy .”  This program allows students to earn college credit while beginning to acquire the skill sets needed for teachers in the 21st Century. Learn more about our High School Center by going to their link as noted.

Our Adult Career Center is a highly respected workforce development training provider In Southeastern Ohio.  The Adult Career Center provides customized training for incumbent employees in business, short term career enhancement training from skill level upgrades and career development programs for new workers and those individuals seeking occupational change.  You can find out more information about our Adult Career Center by going to their link on this page.
