Program Description

Business Professionals students learn skills necessary to be successful in today’s fast-paced business environment.  Students are trained for a variety of office positions and gain “real world” work experience in their senior year.

Students have the opportunity to demonstrate their technical training in state competition and in career development activities. Career development includes job shadowing, internships or industry mentorship. By showing off their talents, students may qualify for state recognition, scholarships or advanced employment opportunities.

Class Champions and their Accomplishments
Sammy Midkiff, senior Business Professional student, placed first in Region 2's BPA competition of Payroll Accounting. She will compete at the state level on March 16-17, 2017.
 
Kate Dygas - Placed fifth at the State BPA competition in Payroll Accounting. She placed 20th in the National BPA competition in Anaheim, CA on May 9, 2015.
 
Ryan Redecker - Placed first at the State BPA competition in Payroll Accounting. He competed at the National BPA competition in Orlando, FL on May 9, 2013.
 
Brittly Allman - Placed first at the State BPA competition in Access with a perfect score.  She competed at the National BPA competition in Chicago, IL on April 26, 2012

Katie Rodgers - Reached Ambassador Status by earning BPA torch awards.  She was honored at the National BPA competition on April 26, 2012, in Chicago, IL.
