Computer Tech Academy
  • Design, install, and troubleshoot complex computer and audio/visual network systems
  • Create dynamic animation, graphics, audio and visual presentations, and interactive web pages
  • Use the same hardware and design software as professionals
Program Description
The Computer Tech Academy is a program with a strong curriculum for high school students on the principles and practices of designing, building, installing, and maintaining networks and learning to program software, multimedia skils, and create websites. Students will complete coursework in a complete range of computer concepts—from pulling cable, through such complex concepts as subnet masking rules and configuring routers. Students learn on state-of-the-art equipment so they can stay on the leading edge of rapidly changing computer technologies. Training needed to acquire professional certifications will be an integral part of this program. Qualifying graduates may enter the workforce as certified professionals or continue their training at the college level.

         One placed 3rd in state and One placed 1st in state

2010 - Five students competed at Oho State SkillsUSA competition
2009 - Four students competed at Ohio State SkillsUSA competion
