Diesel/Ag Technology
  • Service, troubleshoot, repair, and overhaul diesel and gas machinery, equipment, and small engines
  • Analyze and repair complex electrical, hydraulic, and fuel systems for farm machinery and heavy construction equipment
  • Operate a wide range of modern agricultural and industrial equipment 
Program Description:
The Diesel Ag Technology program offers a two-year program for students entering the workforce, in agriculture equipment or heavy equipment maintenance and repair. Today’s technicians not only diagnose and fix mechanical problems, they also must understand and troubleshoot the computer-controlled systems found in diesel engines, power trains and hydraulic systems.  Students gain hands-on skills working on multiple types of diesel engines and equipment.

  • Service and repair of all sizes of engines, both gasoline and diesel
  • Service and repair of drive trains, hydraulics and electrical systems
  • Transmission, suspension and steering repair
  • Heating and cooling systems repair
  • Welding
  • Spray painting and body repair

This program has produced many champions in FFA contests. Professional certification opportunities for students meeting necessary requirements.
