The Fashion Marketing program prepares students for employment in retails sales and marketing-related positions. Special emphasis is placed on clothing design and production techniques, business management skills, product marketing, customer relations, and the implementation of technology in records management. Besides entering the workforce after graduation, students can choose to attend college, further developing their design, business and marketing skills.
Students also have opportunities to gain on-the-job training through job shadowing, internships with local businesses and early employment placement. In early placement, students can develop skills and positive work ethics necessary for success and earn a paycheck while learning. The program opportunities offer a great “head start” for students wanting to be involved with the retail and marketing industry.
