About Us

Tri-County Career Center accepts students from high schools in Athens, Perry and Hocking counties. Junior and senior students are enrolled in one of seventeen different programs. These programs get students job-ready, and for those continuing their educations, college-ready. Over 90 percent of Career Center graduates are either working or continuing their educations. Currently, the Career Center has graduates at Hocking College, Ohio University and many other one-, two-, and four-year schools across the region.

Tri-County offers four-year college Tech Prep programs that include two years of high school and two years of college. These program curricula have been cooperatively developed by Tri-County and Hocking College. For successful high school Tech Prep completers, Hocking College offers tuition scholarships.

Tri-County Adult Career Center promotes workforce development and economic growth by preparing those we train for employment, career enhancement and ultimately better futures.  Our courses are Pell and WIA approved as applicable. Most of our training culminates in industry based credentialing in the form of certification or licensure. We proudly offer training on a continuous basis, daytime and evening, 12 months annually and available on our campus or business sites. Training can be customized for businesses or individuals. Course fees are low and in many cases, credits are available with Hocking College.
