Program Description:

Welcome to the Building and Property Management Program. The student experience at Tri-County Career Center is a unique combination of textbook learning and real world hands-on experiences. We apply Science, Math and Communication Skills to career opportunities. Our approach to learning challenges students to obtain their very best potential.

The Building and Property Maintenance program offers training in the basics for many construction trade careers. Students develop skills in structure remodeling, repair and maintenance. These skills are continually practiced through project-based training. Skills for success will include basic carpentry, masonry, concrete finishing, roofing, electrical wiring, plumbing, welding, painting, drywall installing, and tile application. Students from this program have numerous placement opportunities within the trade areas.

Fees and Recommended Tools

Required program fees may include safety glasses, tool rental, workbook, technology fees and dues for our professional organization. The minimum recommended clothing to be worn during lab and class time is blue jeans, tee-shirt, and work boots (with or without steel toes).
