
This 40-hour course will train students in the various methods of splicing, terminating, testing, and commissioning of fiber optic cable. After successfully completing this course students will have the skills necessary to become FOA Certified Fiber Optic Technicians.

- Fiber optic cable components and standards
- Proper installation and termination of fiber optic cable
- Learn the operation of power meters and light source testing
- Proper testing and tracing analysis
- Fusion splicing of fiber
- Advanced fiber theory
